Smallholder farmers in Armenia, particularly women, are the most vulnerable demographic to the climate crisis within the agricultural sector.

The Farmer Climate Resilience Assessment was developed to assess how prepared farmers are in Lori Province to increasingly severe climate risks like drought, hail, and soil degradation.

We developed a Farmer Climate Resilience Assessment for smallholder farmers in Lori Province using a set of environmental, economic, and social indicators. Our resilience assessment assigns each farmer a climate resilience score (RS) depending on their performance within our set of indicators.

The maps below displays basic information for all farmers surveyed including their respective resilience scores. Click below to download our farmer climate resiliency toolkit and access our assessment and scoring tools.
